First of all, on behalf of the Bank of Mongolia, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you to this Forum, hosted by the Bank of Mongolia and the Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Agency of the Government of Mongolia.
In recent years, Mongolia is becoming one of the top investment destinations in the region. We believe this is due to our commitment to offer investors a favorable investment climate.
We offer investors a stable macroeconomic and political environment, a rule of law, and an institutional framework with legal and regulatory system that promotes competition, good governance and improves access to financial services, which are all necessary for attracting foreign investment. In addition, a strong economic growth and a rapid expansion of the financial sector have made Mongolia even more attractive.
On top of this, Mongolia's untapped resources and close proximity to two big markets are sure to attract investors.
Therefore, we hope this forum will shed light on our progress in establishing a favorable investment environment and highlight opportunities we offer for investors.
