Energy Sector in Mongolia
The power sector in Mongolia supplies 95% of the total demand in central part of Mongolia, which includes three main cities, Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan and Erdenet.
Mongolia began recently oil explorations and started to export crude oil to China, and for the development of oil industry there is a need for investment to oil sector and related infrastructure. At this moment all petroleum products imported from Russia and China. more

 
     
 
Construction sector
Although limited by its harsh winter climate, Mongolia's construction sector continues to flourish. While Mongolia's total population remains small at 2.6 million, 55% of the people reside in cities, creating a larger than expected housing market. Most of the cities, particularly Ulaanbaatar, have grown phenomenally over the last 7 years. Ulaanbaatar has more than double in 7 years from 450,000 to over a million. Residential stock is in short supply and demand shows no signs of slacking. By 2010, the population of Ulaanbaatar is expected to increase by over 60%, bringing a demand of 700,000 additional family units. more
 
     
 
Information and Communication Technology sector
During the last five years, information and communication technology (ICT) was seen as a dynamic and active sector in Mongolia. Foreign investments, technical assistance, and cooperation with technically advanced nations have enabled Mongolia to achieve significant progress in ICT development. The Government of Mongolia has articulated a national ICT Vision in 2010 that lays out the principal strategies of ICT development and the Prime Minister himself heads the National ICT Committee. The government's relatively forward-looking policies have encouraged the private sector to become a leading force in the ICT sector. more
