About Us
Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency of Mongolia (FIFTA) is the government implementing agency responsible for the promotion and facilitation of foreign direct investment in the country.

Vision

• to promote Mongolia as a destination for new investment and business,
• to facilitate foreign investment and foreign trade towards meeting the national goals of industrial development and export growth,
• to be a leading agency in Mongolia. 

Strategic Goals

• To maintain steady growth of foreign direct investment and to promote export
• To improve investment and business environment through various measures including upgrading quality of investment registration services and information provision
• To influence in creating more favorable environment for small and medium-scale industry development

In 2002, World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies /WAIPA/ honored the FIFTA with a "Global Runner-Up" award for its best achievement in attracting foreign investment and improving investment environment.

The FIFTA is organizationally structured from 6 units: Investment Promotion and Cooperation Division; One-Stop Service Center; Export Promotion Center; Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Support Office; Information and Planning Team and Administration Unit.
