GREAT DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT FORUM: MONGOLIA-2009
The Ministry of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development, Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency, the Mayors office and the Governors office of Capital city of Mongolia and Coordinate info LLC jointly organized Great Development and Investment Forum: Mongolia - 2009 on 9-10 April 2009 in the Government house. Great Development and Investment Forum: Mongolia - 2009 /GDIF/ aimed at attracting foreign and domestic investment into the infrastructure and construction sectors of Mongolia, is organized within the framework of the Industrialization year 2009, proclaimed from the Government of Mongolia. Over 350 local and 120 foreign delegates participated in the event.
Mr. J.Bat-Erdene, State secretary of MRTCUD welcomed participants of the event, followed by keynote speech made by Mr. Kh.Battulga, Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development, Dr. B.Ganzorig, Chairman of Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency and B.Batbold, President, Mongolian Urban Development Assosiation. The forum consisted of 4 panels, followed by series of interactive sub panel discussions.
Wide range discussions held on current situation and legal environment of infrastructure and construction sectors, investment opportunities and development challenges. Promotion of investment seeking projects and programs from the Government, Capital city, province and private enterprises were introduced during the forum.
