THE THIRD MONGOLIA INDIA BUSINESS FORUM. The Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency of Mongolia, in cooperation with Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy organized the The Third Mongolia India Business Forum on June 9th, 2010 in Ulaanbaatar within the frame of official visit of The Secretary, Ministry of Mines of Republic of India, Smt. Santha Sheela Nair.
Mr. Z.Battushig, Vice Chairman of Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency delivered welcoming remarks and presented Mongolian investment policy and opportunities. Mrs. Santha Sheela Nair, the Secretary, Ministry of Mines of Republic of India delivered opening speech and introduced the objectives of her visit to the Mongolian business people. Mr. Batkhuu, Director General of Mining, heavy industry policy of Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy spoke about Mongolian Mining policies and cooperation opportunities with India. Mr. Sundeep K.Nayak, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Mines of Republic of India introduced about Indian Mining policy, challenges and cooperation proposals for Mongolia.
The executive directors of the leading Mining companies of India took part in the forum and during matchmaking session, they have met with their objectives to meet with Mongolian companies, to seek cooperation opportunities in importing fluorspar, coking coal from Mongolia and to invest in exploration and exploitation of minerals such as uranium, ferrous metal, gold and copper projects.
Total 50 participants from both side attended to the forum.
