Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency of Mongolia (FIFTA) is the government agency responsible for the promotion and facilitation of foreign direct investment and foreign trade in the country.
FIFTA has organized bilateral business group meetings abroad between Mongolian and foreign business people during the visits of state high officials, Parliamentary members and Cabinet Ministers’ to Japan, Germany, UK, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Indonesia.
In implementing the Government’s investment promotion policy, FIFTA has been working with Mongolian diplomatic missions abroad, foreign embassies, international organizations and foreign agencies, and other international Promotion Agencies such as MIGA, WAIPA, UNCTAD and UNIDO.
FIFTA has co-organized Mongolia’ participation in World EXPO-2005 in Aichi, Japan and participated in the North East Asian Investment and Trade Fair and the International CIFIT Exhibition.
The FIFTA’s vision is to promote and facilitate foreign investment and foreign trade towards meeting the national goals of industrial development and export growth, to promote Mongolia as a destination for new investment and business, and to be the leading agency in Mongolia.

BANK OF MONGOLIA

The Bank of Mongolia is the central bank of Mongolia. Its main objective is to maintain price stability by using the appropriate monetary policy instruments. Other major roles are maintaining financial system stability and promoting the safety and efficiency of the payments system. The Bank is an active participant in financial markets, manages Mongolia's foreign reserves, issues Mongolian currency notes and serves as banker to the Government. |
